So, another year has begun. From what we’ve heard, this year will be as tough as a femur, possibly the most sleepless year of our lives. We’ll have many things to look forward to, such as OSCEs, labs, clinics, exam weeks, and the ominous step one.
Whew! What a week. Test headaches and nausea, broken brakes and burning cars, and more internal bleeding.
This week was Joey’s birthday! He is now two human years old. Having a dog in med school is so much fun and great for our sanity. Janna gets to go home during the week to a little doggy that is so excited to see her he can’t hold his pee. Joey lets his shower of affection flow for Anthony during weekday visits and when Anthony take Joey home over the weekend.
The dreaded week is here with the terrifyingly, scary tests of doom. First tests are always so scary since we don’t know what to expect (although all med school tests will probably be scary).
AAAAAAAAAAH! Less than one week before IT begins. Oh, and we both became triathletes today. NBD.
We completed our med school registration! The next step was to put on our professional clothes and head over to University Student Affairs Office. Why? Well, to get our… Drumroll, please….student ID badges!!
Ahhh! Slight panic. Between the graduation parties and surprise med school deadline, the first week of summer flew by way too fast.
