So, another year has begun. From what we’ve heard, this year will be as tough as a femur, possibly the most sleepless year of our lives. We’ll have many things to look forward to, such as OSCEs, labs, clinics, exam weeks, and the ominous step one.
First year of med school :::: COMPLETE!
This past week (the 2nd week), we had week of prayer which means one less class each day. So, that meant 3 classes on Mon, Wed, and Fri and only 2! on Tues and Thurs because of our religion class (total lectures: 13! usually we have 17).
One test day down. Three more to go. Then, we will be officially done with 1/8 of our med school journey.
First of all, we’d like to extend a warm-felt apology to all our dedicated followers. All two of you (hi mom and dad).
Anyways, so here’s what’s happened and what’s going to happen.
This week we had Monday off, for Labor Day. Three-day weekends in med school are a little different from our college and high school days. They’re not quite as fun-filled to the brim as they used to be, but they’re definitely still appreciated–perhaps even more so.
